The Heavy Duty Basket is used at all times when using the Solo Rescue Decon Washer. When paired with other accessories it enables you to wash anything from SCBAs, facepieces, boots, gloves, helmets and even smaller parts such as regulator’s and pressure connectors.
One Heavy Duty Basket is always included when you purchase a Solo Rescue Decon Washer. However, if you want to create what we call a Free Flow System you will need two baskets. A Free Flow System naturally separates your wash area into a clean and a dirty side and maximizes flow in the decontamination process as it allows for multitasking. By filling or emptying one basket while the other is being decontaminated you will minimize waiting time and speed up the process.
